Lots of Updates to Slackware 13.37 Packages
After a long absence from updating any of my packages, I am back with a fairly large list of updates. Many of my multimedia related packages were woefully out of date. Some of them, such as ffmpeg and MPlayer, were based on checkouts of their development code. These projects have since published up-to-date stable releases, so I thought it would be a good idea to move from the dev snapshots to actual releases. I hope I don’t regret this if/when those releases become obsolete with no newer releases on the horizon. (I believe the ffmpeg team will keep things up; I’m a bit apprehensive about MPlayer.)
Without further ado, here is the list of updates:

wxsvg – Updated to 1.1.9
The following are now broken due to the upgrade of ffmpeg to 0.11.1:
k9copy
audacity (can probably build this w/o ffmpeg support)
DVDStyler – Packages for DVDStyler and wxsvg have been challenging to maintain over the years. I like the program, but I may end up dropping it due to it being somewhat of a moving target. It looks like the developer has moved to libav (instead of ffmpeg support). I may try again to see if I can get the latest version built.
The binary packages are built for Slackware64 13.37, and can be downloaded from the packages website. If people need 32-bit versions, or otherwise need to build the packages themselves, they build scripts are available from the SVN repo.
One of the main reasons for me getting around to these updates is the fact that Slackware 14 is just around the corner. I’ll need to do a lot of work to get all of my packages ready for that release, and this let’s me get a bit of a head start. Who knows? Maybe for the Slackware 14 release I’ll actually get around to my promise of building both 32- and 64-bit versions of all my packages at the same time.
