LibreOffice 3.4.2 RC1 Released

LibreOffice 3.4.2 RC1 has been released by upstream. 3.4.2 is the version they claim will be ready for mass consumption, from personal users to corporate users.

I’ve updated the Slackware64 13.37 package from 3.4.1.3 to this 3.4.2.1 release. The binary package for it is available from the package website. Those who would like to build their own package can get the build script from the SVN repository.

    There was a slight change in how the icons and .desktop files get installed in LibreOffice from 3.4.1 to 3.4.2. Because of this, menu entries are missing from the first 3.4.2 package I built and uploaded. I’m currently building a second package that will fix this. It will be uploaded within the next few hours.
